Jones Stripe Jute Runner/ Mat

The Jones stripe is the reverse of our popular Smith stripe.

Graphite with a natural stripe. It looks terrific on concrete and timber floors alike.

The stripe rugs add interest and personality to your home, hallways and entry ways.

Available in door mats, extended oversized mats, hall runners which are equally useful in kitchens and the butlers pantry. Small through to extra large rugs.

Offering a point of difference, the stripe runs horizontally on the rug and vertically on the runners.

Jute is a natural, sustainable, environmentally friendly fibre adding a relaxed layer of texture and style to any home.

Boucle is a thick chunky weave designed to provide durability and practicality to high traffic areas whilst being comfortable and soft underfoot.

Each rug is hand made, meaning no two are the same. Irregularities are characteristic of the design and process, and are considered a feature of the product.

The best way to keep your jute rug clean is to vacuum regularly so that dirt and dust doesn't build up and rub into the fibres.

Treat spots and spills immediately with warm water and pat dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.

If necessary, sprinkle baking soda onto the rug, allow to sit overnight to absorb lingering odour.

Clean up pet accidents immediately. Remove solids with paper towel and blot up urine quickly. Mix white vinegar and water in equal parts, using a clean cloth gently dab area clean. Cover the area in baking soda to help draw out the moisture and eliminate odour.

Rugs should be rotated to minimize colour change, and damage. Sun exposure for extended periods of time may cause fading.

Strands of jute can sometimes pop out of our hand crafted rugs. Loose fibres should be twisted and pushed through to the base of the rug. Never pull out threads, this can cause damage and holes.

Shedding is to be expected initially, you may discover a fine layer of dust under your rugs.

We do recommend the use of an underlay. This can prevent movement or slippage and also help to protect flooring underneath.
