Anu Pendant in Quartz 18K Gold Plated

A smokey quartz rectangle is bezel-set in a stepped rectangle of gold, recalling the holy shape of the Mesopotamian ziggurat.

The form calls to mind the Sky God Anu, representing transcendence. His symbol in Sumerian artwork takes the shape of nested rectangles which symbolise the sky and Anu’s divine authority.
